A halt group is a group of cores that will stop execution simultaneously whenever any one of the cores in the group hits a breakpoint. In multicore groups, each group can be configured as a run control group, a breakpoint halt group, or both. Creating multicore groupshows the Multicore Groups dialog.
The halt groups are configured on any applicable debug target. Similarly, whenever a debug session is launched, all applicable halt groups are applied to the debug target.
