S32 Design Studio looks for updates and software packages across the
specified software sites. To view and edit these sites, click Manage
Sites in the S32DS Extensions and Updates wizard.
Alternatively, you can click on the main menu and go to on the left pane of the Preferences window.
The right pane of the Preferences window displays all registered
software sites added by default.
To manage the list of software sites, use the buttons located at the right side of the
window.

- Click Add.
- In the Add Site dialog box, specify the location of the
site:
- To add a local or network folder for the lookup, click
Local. Browse to the required folder and click
OK.
- To add an archived file (JAR or ZIP) for the lookup, click
Archive. Browse to the required file (local or
network) and click Open.
- To add a web page for the lookup, type the required URL to the
Location field.
- Specify the name of the new site and click OK.

Click Edit and type the preferred name and location in the
dialog box. Click OK. |

Click
Apply before closing the
Preferences
dialog box for the latest updates to take effect.
Note: If you added a software site or
archive file incompatible with the current product version, you get the "Unsuitable Package
for Platform" notification in the S32 Extensions and Updates wizard, and new software
does not appear in the list of available packages. If you don't want to see these
notifications, disable the Show Unsuitable Package Dialog option at the top of the
Preferences window.
