201709005I : i.MX 6QuadPlus / i.MX 6DualPlus Silicon Revision

NXP Semiconductors is announcing i.MX 6DualPlus / QuadPlus maskset revision 1N56P was qualified with new part numbers.This CIN is a follow up to the previous Advanced PCN 201705010A. Final PCN's will not be distributed for this change.The new mask revision improvements are below.1.There was a ROM modification change to help with overall device performance.2. New Part Numbers created and added to the datasheet.3. Datasheets were revised from rev.1 to rev.2 adding the new part numbers.See revision history for additional updates to the datasheets. Reason of Change

The release of i.MX 6DualPlus/QuadPlus new maskset 1N56P enhanced the ROM for performance improvements in the device.

Identification of Affected Products

The new device will have maskset 1N56P marked on the device.

Anticipated Impact

Data sheet revision: A new datasheet will be issued

There is no change to form fit function or reliability. User software may have to change to accommodate the new maskset number.
