201803003I : TEF7000HN/TEF7000AHN Family Marking Introduction of Internal Tracebility Code DiDT

From mid of April 2018 onwards an additional code will be marked on top of the devices from the TEF7000HN/AHN family to enhance traceabilitiy of the NXP assembly line.This code will be printed on the unused line 5 under the existing device marking and is an unique device ID for traceability purposes only. The unique device ID enables additional traceability of the device production events (man/machine/method/tooling) from WT Assembly to FT for internal process improvements.An example of the new marking is shown in the attached document.

Reason of Change

This change is not expected to affect customers in any way. However because the change is visible NXP wants to appropriately inform customers of it.

Identification of Affected Products

Top side marking From mid of April 2018 onwards for all products of the TEF7000HN/AHN family the Marking Line 5 will be used to add an unique device ID for traceability purposes only.
