NXP leads the industry for I2C Voltage Translators with a very large offering for all the various applications that need transition of I2C signals through multiple voltage domains without direction control. There are three different types of devices: FET, FET with internal one shot and active buffer with two supply pins. For low (< 200 pF) capacitance applications use FET, mid (100 to 300 pF) capacitance use FET with one shot and high (200 to 540 pF) capacitance use Active with secondary consideration the voltage transition range. Then consider maximum frequency, noise margin, package options and cost. Other considerations are maximum frequency, noise margin, and package options.
