The NPS300x is a family of compact, high precision differential pressure sensors with a programmable I2C and SPI digital interface. It covers a pressure range from ±500 Pa, 0 to 1 kPa, and 0 to 5 kPa. The NPS300x has very high sensitivity of 0.125 Pa/LSB. Due to its low power with current consumption down to 2.7 µA in measurement mode, 1 µA in standby and interrupt capabilities, it is particularly suited for battery powered devices such as wireless BLE applications.
Standard version (NPS300x)
The standard version is suitable for medical applications such as e-inhalers (i.e. alcohol breath test, drug delivery, etc.), continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) masks, and other breath-related medical devices. Ultra-low power capabilities combined with very good pressure repeatability and a small footprint make the NPS300x family a perfect component for your device.
Enhanced version (NPS300xE)
The enhanced version family has been specifically developed for applications requiring improved pressure accuracy and offset stability over life. This makes the product family ideal for industrial applications such as smart filters, fan control regulation, ventilation systems (humidity extractor, HVAC), and appliance applications such as liquid level measurement (i.e. for washing machine, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc.), vacuum cleaners (full bag detect, smart filter, smart suction control, etc.) and air purifiers.
