Based on NXP's SR040 Ultra-Wideband (UWB) transceiver IC, this Amotech module comes with an embedded RF connector. This a fully integrated single chip Impulse Radio Ultra-Wideband (IR-UWB) low energy transceiver IC, which is compliant to IEEE 802.15.4/4z HRP UWB PHY. Designed for ranging applications in an IoT environment, it can be used for 2-way measurement with a measurement accuracy of 10cm. It can be also used for data transmission with a data rate of up to 7.8 Mbits/s.
