The TEF82xx customer application board, TEF82xx-CAB, supports the development of high-performance 77 GHz radar
applications targeted for automotive use cases, such as advanced high resolution corner and front radar
applications.
The TEF82xx-CAB consists of two TEF82xx radar transceivers in a leader-follower configuration. All RF receive and
transmit channels are wired to a 6 x 8 antenna array. The 26 GHz local oscillator output (differential signal) from
the leader is sent to both the leader LO input and the follower LO input.
Besides, it offers a wide variety of features and interfaces to facilitate HW and SW development to enable customer
development, for example, MIPI-CSI2 interface to extract the ADC raw data, SW API to enable the controlling of the
front-end MMIC from the host platforms.
