Find answers to common questions about NXP Connects, our premier training event to be held June 13-14, 2023 in Santa Clara, CA, USA.

What is NXP Connects?

NXP Connects is a technical conference for engineers designing embedded systems. The program brings together NXP product experts and ecosystem partners to offer technical training and unveil innovative solutions through live demonstrations in the Technology Lab. The two-day event includes multiple keynotes and panels by industry leaders sharing exclusive insights on today’s trending topics.

How much does it cost to attend?

There is NO CHARGE to attend NXP Connects. Simply register  and check-in onsite to receive your badge prior to attending sessions. Buffet lunches, daily snacks and the networking reception with heavy appetizers and beer/wine/soft drinks are included with your registration.

Do I need to register in advance?

You can register in advance  or onsite; however, some sessions have limited seating so registering as early as possible and selecting your classes is recommended to optimize the use of your time.

Where is NXP Connects taking place?

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara and Conference Center.

What is the parking availability for the conference?

The parking at the conference center is free and first-come first-served, additionally the hotel and nearby Techmart have approximately 2000 spaces available. An additional 1830 spaces are located a block away at the Tasman garage, across from Levi's stadium.

What are the hardware and software requirements for hands-on workshops?

None. Hands-on workshops offer 2-person workstations equipped with the necessary software and hardware (example: boards, laptop, monitor) at the time the session begins in order to maximize your training time.

If I’m on a waitlist for a hands-on workshop, will I be able to get in?

If you receive a notification that you are on a waitlist for a workshop, you may still be admitted at the time the session begins. Arrive to the session early and notify the door monitor that you are on the waitlist. If seats are open at the time the session begins, the door monitor will allow admittance to those waiting in the order they are listed.

Can I receive a Certificate of Attendance?

Yes, simply request a Certificate of Attendance at the check-in desk and one will be printed for you.

Do I need to RSVP to the networking reception?

No, all registrants are welcome to attend the reception which takes place the evening of day one. The reception is hosted in the Technology Lab and offers plenty of time for you to check out the latest NXP and partner demos, mingle with colleagues, eat, drink and be merry.

Do you offer giveaways or swag I can take home?

Yes and yes. There will be some very cool raffle prizes given away during the event so look for more information in emails as the event approaches. As for swag, all attendees receive a few conference items like notebooks and pens to get their learning day off to a good start!

Do I have to complete a survey?

You are not required to complete surveys but it does help us organize an event better curated to your needs, AND we give you a $5 Starbucks gift card for submitting an event survey when the conference ends.

When do I receive session presentations?

Presentations will be available at the time the event begins and can be accessed at nxp.com/Connects. You will also receive an email with a link to access presentations.
