KTY82 and KTY81 are EOL and not recommended for new designs. Last order shipment was 31 March 2026. NXP has no replacement offering. In cases where a KTY82 or KTY81 part is needed, customers may reach out to Rochester Electronics to check available stock.
This device is sensitive to ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD). Therefore care should be taken during transport and handling.
The temperature sensors in the KTY81 series have a positive temperature coefficient of resistance and are suitable for use in measurement and control systems. The sensors are encapsulated in the SOD70 2 in-line leads plastic package.
