The MPC801 is derived from the MPC860 PowerQUICC® integrated microprocessor and peripheral combination that can be used in a variety of controller appliactions. It is a low cost, general-purpose embedded microprocessor that provides effective price performance across a wide range of applications. An entry-level, minimally integrated processor suited for set-top boxes, cellular base stations, Internet terminals and network computers.
