FreeMASTER Sensor Tool is the sensor evaluation, data-visualization and application development software based on NXP FreeMASTER framework for IoT/Industrial/Medical sensors. It provides out-of-box sensor demonstration GUIs for quick sensor evaluation and development framework for end users to extend/create their custom applications.

FreeMASTER Sensor Tool enables quick out-of-box sensor demonstration along with flexibility to allow rapid prototyping to create custom GUIs. This software is integrated with the IoT Sensing SDK embedded software framework using FreeMASTER host communication for supported platforms.

Real-Time Sensor Registers Control

  • Modify memory variables/registers real time
  • Control hardware with Real-time registers, control variables write capability

Real-Time Sensor Output Monitoring

  • Read multiple memory variables at individual sampling rates

Sensor Register Page

  • Provides detailed register map for the sensors and allows real-time read and write of register bit fields, allowing detailed sensor evaluation
  • Allows auto-population of sensor register page by uploading csv file

Loss-Less Streaming

  • Character or binary I/O streaming using pipes feature enabling buffering to better utilize the communication line

Out of Box Sensor Demonstration

  • Enables quick visualization of sensor Data and embedded functions based on the preconfigured sensor settings in the ISSDK firmware

Development Platforms Integration

  • Integration with MCUXpresso SDK using ISSDK and FreeMASTER drivers for embedded application development
  • Integration with FreeMASTER v 3.x with flexibility to extend JavaScript-powered HTML control forms. Users can provide an arbitrary collection of open source instrumentation gauges, dials, knobs and sliders to create complex, elegant custom visual dashboards
