About This Training
Timers are often used in the automotive industry because a large variety of applications are time-dependent. When a timer finishes counting, it interrupts the processor, taking the necessary action, therefore saving processor time and power, and providing more accurate timing measurements.
This session will cover the basics of the Low Power Timer (LPTMR) and the Low Power Interrupt Timer (LPIT). We will show how to use those NXP Model-Based Design Toolbox (MBDT) block set to create your timing and scheduling applications on the S32K1xx EVB.
