1. Out of the Box

The NXP analog product development boards provide an easy-to-use platform for evaluating NXP products. The boards support a range of analog, mixed-signal and power solutions. They incorporate monolithic integrated circuits and system-in-package devices that use proven high-volume technology. NXP products offer longer battery life, a smaller form factor, reduced component counts, lower cost and improved performance in powering state-of-the-art systems.

This page will guide you through the process of setting up TJA11xx PHY evaluation kit.

1.1 Kit Contents and Packing List

The kit contents include:

  • Assembled and tested TJA11xx-EVB evaluation board in an antistatic bag
  • Assembled and tested TJA11xx-SDBx evaluation board in an antistatic bag
  • Cable: UTP with 2x MateNET connectors

2. Get Hardware

2.1 Board Description

The kit contains two boards: the TJA11xx-EVB hardware evaluation baseboard for 100BASE-T1 or 1000BASE-T1 PHYs (see TJA11xx-EVB hardware evaluation board) and one of eight available TJA11xx-SDBx Sabre expansion boards (see TJA11xx_SDBx sabre expansion board).

The TJA11xx-EVB is designed as a breakout board that can be used as a host board for a Sabre expansion board, such as the TJA11xx-SDBx.

To use the evaluation kit, the TJA11xx-SDBx must be mounted on top of the TJA11xx-EVB and fixed using the standoffs provided.
