Features

Analog Front-End (AFE)

  • Amperometric measurement via potentiostat supporting three-terminal and two-terminal modes
  • Flexible configurability of four work electrodes
  • Dual buffering modes: high‑accuracy, low‑bandwidth buffers or high‑speed, high‑bandwidth buffers
  • Support for chronoamperometry, voltage measurements and external thermistor for temperature measurements
  • Self-timed sensing operations interrupt the host process when new sensor data is available in an integrated RAM buffer

NFC Subsystem

  • NFC Type 4 tag, ISO14443 / NFC Forum-compliant
  • Support for device activation
  • Flexible ISO-DEP Protocol interface to the host processor

Flexible Battery Configuration Options

  • Low Voltage Supply Mode (LV_SM) configuration where a single silver-oxide coin cell powers the application, supporting a voltage range from 1.2 V to 1.95 V
  • High Voltage Supply Mode (HV_SM) configuration where a dual silver-oxide or Li coin cell powers the application, supporting a voltage range from 1.8 V to 3.6 V

Package

  • Wafer‑level chip‑scale package (WLCSP) 1.92 mm x 1.79 mm with 25 bumps

Low Current Consumption in LV_SM

  • Shelf-mode current: 15 nA
  • Bias voltage generation for one potentiostat channel using low‑bandwidth buffers is 2.5 μA
  • Single work electrode (WE) electrode sensing-mode current is 5 μA during the measurement using LBW buffers, including the bias voltage generation
