The USB PD/Type-C shield board combined with the MCUXpresso SDK with USB power delivery library allows a system designer to tether the USB Type-C connector to any Kinetis or LPC development platform. It also dramatically reduces design time by leveraging NXP’s “ready to play” hardware and SDK library.

The USB PD/Type-C shield board includes NXP’s PD PHY, CC Logic chip, USB 3.1 signal conditioner, high-voltage power switches, and authentication products.
