NXP industrial networking software for EtherNet/IP™ enables deterministic real-time Ethernet communication for factory automation, robotics, PLCs, drives, gateways and industrial edge systems. Optimized for supported NXP devices, the solution provides EtherNet/IP Adapter communication using the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP™), helping developers build interoperable industrial automation systems with flexible deployment options.
Developers can accelerate deployment using Connect & Go-enabled i.MX RT1180 and i.MX 94 devices with integrated EtherNet/IP software licensing or deploy EtherNet/IP endpoint software on supported NXP Linux devices through annual software licenses available from NXP Pro Support. The NXP Port Industrial Networking Suite supports deterministic communication, interoperability and long-term software maintenance aligned with evolving industrial cybersecurity requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
