NXP’s Smart Home Gateway Reference Design provides a bridge from a wide area network (WAN/Cloud) connection to a local area network, usually through Wi-Fi and/or Ethernet, while supporting a wide array of wireless communication protocols in the home. Based on the Layerscape® LS1012A processor and the LS1012A Broadband Home Router Application Solution Kit, it allows developers to easily leverage a highly optimized software stack.
