The GB60 demonstration kit contains everything a designer needs to develop and evaluate MC9S08GB or GT Family applications. It is available complete with Metrowerks CodeWarrior®™ Development Studio Special Edition for S08 to modify demo code or develop new code. The evaluation board allows for real-time source-level debugging of your code and programming of the device's Flash memory; all with no additional hardware.

Microcontroller

  • Evaluation board with a 60K Flash MC9S08GB60 MCU, dual DB9 RS-232 serial ports, switches, LEDs, MCU pin-breakout header, and small prototype area

Power Management

  • Powered by two AA batteries (included) or optional external power supply

Tools and OS Support

  • Program and debug code using free CodeWarrior Development Studio for S08, Special Edition, through DB9 serial port, and included RS-232 serial cable or optional BDM Multilink
  • Modify demo code or develop new code for the GB60 using free CodeWarrior® Development Suite for S08, Special Edition
  • Learn the S08 MCU Family quickly with demonstration code including analog-to-digital, timer, PWM, and keyboard interrupt routines
