The S32R41 and TEF82xx development platform is designed for enabling users to start radar development quickly and easily by providing an example software project based on the S32R41 evaluation board (EVB) and the dual TEF82xx customer antenna board (CAB). It integrates several NXP software components, including auto zephyr BSP, radar SDK (RSDK), real-time drivers (RTD), inter-platform communication framework (IPCF) and safety software framework (SAF).

S32R41 radar MPU
Single 12 V external power supply input with necessary EVB and MCU voltages provided by an NXP power management IC (PMIC) solution
Power supplied to the EVB via a 2.1 mm barrel style power jack; 12 V operation allows in-car use if desired
Master power switch and regulator status LEDs
Flexible MCU clocking options allow provision of an external clock via adaptor board (via MIPI-CSI0 connector) or 40 MHz EVB clock oscillator circuit. Solder pads allow selection between these external clocks
Boot mode selection via switches on board

64 Mb (16 MB) serial NOR flash memory
1 Kb EEPROM connected to MCU via I²C

TEF82xx Customer Antenna Board (CAB)

Dual TEF82xx RF front-end board through different MIPI-CSI2 / SPI joint connectors. Free choice of the two different front ends through a jumper configuration
RF RX / TX channels wired to 6 Tx x 8 Rx antenna array
Optimized for 78 GHz operation
