The Bluetooth Ranging Vehicle Access Enablement System is presenting various capabilities of KW4x Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) MCUs powered systems for automotive access use case. Reference designs and application notes provides a flexible and easy method to deploy a low power architecture based on Channel Sounding (CS) and BLE Handover (NXP proprietary feature) by leveraging fast LCE, the key feature of high accuracy in distance measurement. The system measures the distance between by remote device (digital key) and several different fixed devices (car anchors), securely authenticate with ultra-low power and high accuracy.
