The KIT-TPLSNIFEVB facilitates the acquisition of transformer physical layer (TPL) signals by a logic analyzer. It is a listen-only tool that can either be used at the end of a TPL bus or directly included as part of a daisy chain as it is designed to be non-intrusive on the TPL bus.

  • Logic analyzer connection with a provided cable pin-to-pin compatible with the Saleae Logic 8 and Logic Pro 8/16 analyzer series
  • Powered through a USB connector by a 5 V source, typically a USB power bank or a USB cable connected to a computer

Additional Features

  • Minimal loading of the TPL line
  • Internal galvanic isolation between the TPL and rest of the circuits
  • Integrated keep-alive function to avoid power bank self shut-off
