leader for secure connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things, NXP has
been rated among the 20 most innovative companies of its industry. This is the

Both economic media have awarded NXP‘s research- and development work
for a secure connection of communication in the areas of Industry 4.0 and
autonomous driving as well as the company’s strong innovative power
regarding secure communication solutions for the Internet of Things. With the
development of combined hard- and software solutions to protect connected
devices and systems, NXP is significantly contributing to strengthening
Germany’s position as an industrial center and its competitiveness.
With their “Innovator of the Year” ranking,
brand eins Wissen and Statista honor companies which
“stand out from their competition through their services and products,
smart processes and an exceptional business culture”. Over 20,000
executives from the Statista “Expert Circle”, 250
experts from the Berlin Institute for Innovation and Technology and 2,000
innovation awarded companies were asked for this survey.
Bright minds. Bright futures. NXP team members create breakthrough technologies that advance our world.
The future starts here.
For Rudy Stroh NXP Executive Vice President and CEO of NXP Germany GmbH the
awards is recognition and incentive at the same time: “We are always
very pleased when our achievements for our customers are acknowledged outside
the market as well. A constantly high innovation performance is unthinkable
without a permanent mobilization of the entire team. Each and every single
employee, from engineer to CEO, shares our common goal, to make the world of
tomorrow easier and more secure for businesses and users.”
The award by brand eins Wissen and Statista adds to a
previous award. In May already, Stroh was honored for his contribution to
NXP’s innovation-centered business culture:
Markt & Technik – the leading German professional
publication for the electronics industry – awarded him the title
“Manager of the Year 2017.”
