NXP industrial networking software for PROFINET® enables deterministic real-time Ethernet communication for factory automation, robotics, PLCs, drives, gateways and industrial edge systems. Optimized for supported NXP devices, the solution combines flexible deployment options with industrial communication software designed for real-time networking applications.

Developers can accelerate deployment using Connect & Go-enabled i.MX RT1180 and i.MX 94 devices with integrated PROFINET software licensing or deploy PROFINET endpoint software on supported NXP Linux platforms through annual software licenses. The NXP Port Industrial Networking Suite supports deterministic communication, interoperability and long-term software maintenance aligned with evolving cybersecurity requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
