The KMZ80 is an AMR based magnetic angle sensor. The sensor allows the user-specific definition of angular range, zero angle position, and clamping voltages.
The settings are stored permanently in a non-volatile memory (NVM). The programmable angle sensor is pre‑programmed, pre-calibrated and therefore, ready to use.
The sensor is developed to ISO26262 and fulfills ASIL B(Analog) or ASIL C(SENT).

- SAE J2716 SENT and ratiometric analog output
- Support of ISO 26262, support up to ASIL C with SENT output
- Programmable user adjustment, e.g zero angle and angle range
- Multipoint calibration with 17 equidistant or seven selectable calibration points to enable linearity improvement and flexibility in application
- 8 × 12-bit customer memory space for easy traceability
- Robust for working magnetic field strength above 25 kA/m
- No upper field strength limit, effective increased stray field suppression capability
