Join our teamZigbee® is a networking standard for low-cost, low-power, wireless control and monitoring solutions. Designed on top of the IEEE® 802.15.4 radio, Zigbee is a self-healing, secure, robust, mesh protocol that can scale to hundreds of nodes across large areas. Zigbee networks can participate in the "Internet of Things" (IoT), both residential and commercial markets, allowing network nodes such as HVAC, lighting and security devices to be remotely monitored and controlled by devices on the Internet, such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
As a founding company of the Zigbee Alliance, NXP has a long history of leadership in developing and deploying industry standards. NXP is an active contributor to the Zigbee Working Group and provides a complete Zigbee software solution for our wireless microcontrollers.
