The S32 Design Studio for Arm® (S32DS for Arm) is a complimentary integrated development environment (IDE) for Arm-based automotive microcontrollers that supports code editing, compiling, and debugging. Built on open-source technologies including Eclipse IDE, GCC, and GDB, S32DS for Arm provides a streamlined development environment with no code-size limitations. Combined with NXP software and tools, it helps accelerate software development and reduce development effort. Support for S32K1 microcontrollers is also available in S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform, where new features and tools are being introduced to support ongoing development.
