This video, presented by Benjamin Jayakumar from NXP’s Systems Engineering team, demonstrates the graphics subsystem capabilities of the i.MX RT700 microcontroller unit (MCU). We will walk you through a use case where JPEG images from a USB camera are decoded and converted from a YUV420 or NV12 Linear format to RGB using the RT700’s vector graphics processing unit (VGPU) and enabling display onto an LCD.
The video also highlights the RT700’s integrated graphics features including OpenVG support, frame buffer compression and low-power performance, making it ideal for embedded display applications.
