The PACK-BJBEMUL is a battery junction box emulator. It is meant to simplify the evaluation of NXP battery junction box solutions. The board emulates different parameters in the system (battery current, system high-voltage, temperature sensor, pyrotechnic switch, etc.).

System Voltage

  • 4 positive voltage outputs (from 0 V to 10 V)
  • 2 bipolar voltage outputs (from -10 V to 10 V)
  • Isolation failure emulation (between high-voltage domain and low voltage domain)

Battery Current

  • 4 current emulation outputs (from -300 mV to 300 mV)
  • Short-circuit emulation
  • 2 shunt temperature sensor emulators

Pyrotechnic Switch

  • 2 pyrotechnic switch emulators
  • Status LED showing the pyrotechnic switch deployment

Crash Signal

  • 2 digital signal outputs
