The EdgeLock® SE051H Secure Element is a turnkey solution – designed to meet the security requirements of Matter, by supporting the necessary algorithms and cryptographic functions and providing NFC commissoning capabilities in the upcoming generation of products. This allows developers to deliver products that are secure yet easy to deploy by delivering a better user experience.
NXP is an active board member of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). The NXP EdgeLock 2GO service is approved by CSA for issuing the Matter Device Attestation Certificates and offers flexible options for device provisioning. The EdgeLock SE051H secure element, supported by the EdgeLock 2GO service, is an innovative approach that enables peace of mind while simplifying security.
This product is part of the EdgeLock Assurance program, designed to meet industry standards and follows NXP's security-by-design approach.
Participating products are available for a minimum of 10 years. Designated participating products developed for the automotive, telecom and medical segments are available for a minimum of 15 years.

The EdgeLock SE05x Plug & Trust middleware package offers easy integration with different MCUs and MPUs simplifying design-in and reducing time-to-market.
In addition, the GitHub software packages are derivatives of the full Plug & Trust middleware package for specific use cases. For development purposes still look at the full package as well as it contains large amounts of examples, tools and additional documentation.
