SPIGen is a fully customizable SPI generator software package, which can easily adapt to a wide variety of SPI protocol specifications. It supports the NXP USB SPI dongle/interface. SPIGen v7 can be installed on any Windows 7^®, Windows 8^®, or Windows 10^®-based operating system, and it uses the USB port of a computer to interface with the test hardware via the USB SPI dongle/interface hardware.

SPIGen V7 - compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10
SPIGen 5.0.8 - compatible with Windows XP ONLY
Variable word sizes from 1 to 40 bits
SPI commands can be viewed in binary or in hex
Can save common SPI commands by name
Batches of SPI commands can be sent with one click
A session log records all messages sent and received
Can control nine extra non-SPI pins (digital outputs)
Can add transitions of non-SPI pins to batches
SPI maximum clock frequency up to 12.0 MHz (using KL25Z Freedom Board USB SPI Dongle)
