MC56F80xxx family of digital signal controllers combine the processing power of a DSP, the functionality of an MCU, and advanced analog peripherals to support motor control, digital power, industrial automation, and many more applications. The MC56F80xxx family is based on the 100 MHz, high-performance 32-bit 56800EF core, unifying DSP and MCU functionality in a C-efficient architecture, with an integrated FPU and CORDIC trigonometric math engine. It includes a high resolution eFlexPWM module with up to 12 channels, including up to 8 channels with 312 picosecond resolution. The device also offers two high speed ADCs, three analog comparators, two op amps, and an enhanced quadrature decoder, with an intermodule crossbar for flexible connections between peripherals and GPIOs.
