Core components include NXP's MCX microcontroller units (MCUs), power management systems (PMICs) with integrated battery charging and gauge, and secure NFC, enabling secure authentication. Additional capabilities include cartridge sensing for temperature, moisture, and pressure, as well as security features certified to Common Criteria. NXP's magnetic switches enable precise detection of needle and cartridge status.
