The PCA9422 is a highly integrated power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed for low-power microcontroller applications and battery-powered devices. The PCA9422 integrates a JEITA-compliant linear battery charger with charging currents up to 640 mA and supports flexible configuration through an I²C interface.
Built-in protection features, including input overvoltage, overcurrent, and thermal protection, help ensure reliable operation. The PCA9422 also features FLEXGAUGE™, enabling battery gauging capabilities when used with the i.MX RT MCU family.
Participating products are available for a minimum of 10 years. Designated participating products developed for the automotive, telecom and medical segments are available for a minimum of 15 years.
