Take your embedded design to the next level with the IAR KickStart Kit™ for the Kinetis®K60 family of MCUs. Developed in conjunction with IAR Systems, this kit speeds your time to market with packaged evaluation boards, software development tools, example projects and RTOS BSPs.
The TWR-K60N512-IAR can operate as a standalone evaluation board, and the J-Link Lite for Cortex™-M debug probe will bring you advanced debugging features through Serial Wire Debug (SWD).
The TWR-K60N512 microcontroller module is part of the Tower® System, a modular development platform that enables rapid prototyping and tool re-use through reconfigurable hardware. This guide briefly describes how to get started using IAR Embedded Workbench ® with IAR J-Link (Lite), USB-JTAG/SWD debug probe for Cortex-M to run an example application on the Kinetis K60N512 board.
Software offered 'As is', support provided on NXP® Communities only – Touch Sensing Software library version for Kinetis®. This version is compiled specifically for IAR compiler. This software is able to use the TSI module (touch sensing input) for highly robust touch sensing, as well as use the software-based GPIO method. Up to 64 electrodes are configurable, out of which 16 can be the 16 TSI pins and the rest can be GPIO pins.
