The TJA1121 is a 1000BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet PHY with integrated MACsec, designed to provide secure 1 Gbit/s in-vehicle networking.
The TJA1121 delivers hardware-based MACsec security at line rate while maintaining pin compatibility with the TJA1103, TJA1104 and TJA1120, enabling platform scalability across 100 Mbps and 1 Gbit/s Ethernet designs.
The device supports shielded twisted pair (STP) and unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling, integrates OPEN Alliance TC10-compliant wake-up forwarding, and includes enhanced monitoring and diagnostic capabilities. Developed according to ISO 26262, the TJA1121 supports ASIL B functional safety requirements.

Participating products are available for a minimum of 10 years. Designated participating products developed for the automotive, telecom and medical segments are available for a minimum of 15 years.
