The TJA1425 is a quad-channel LIN transceiver that provides the interface between a LIN protocol controller and the physical bus in automotive LIN networks. The TJA1425 integrates four LIN transceivers with commander termination and supports LIN 2.x, SAE J2602, and ISO 17987-4:2016 communication at baud rates up to 20 kBd.
In addition to TJA1124 compatibility, the TJA1425 offers enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electrostatic discharge (ESD) robustness, 1.8 V I/O support for advanced MCUs, and an MCU time-out fail-safe feature to help reduce power consumption.
The device also supports wake-up from low-power mode through dedicated control pins and LIN channels.
Participating products are available for a minimum of 10 years. Designated participating products developed for the automotive, telecom and medical segments are available for a minimum of 15 years.
