The EVBMA7X18 is an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) capable distributed cell monitoring unit (CMU) with electrical transport protocol link (ETPL) communication. It is ideal for rapid prototyping of a high-voltage battery management system (HVBMS) hardware and software. This board contains one BMA7418 analog front end (AFE) which enables with its integrated DFT feature EIS measurements. The pin and feature compatibility between the BMA7418 and BMA7118, allows to use the EVBMA7X18 also for evaluation of the BMA7118.
