The TJA1152 is a secure CAN and CAN FD transceiver designed to protect in-vehicle network communication without requiring cryptographic processing. The TJA1152 provides the interface between a CAN or CAN FD protocol controller and a two-wire CAN bus while operating as a standard CAN transceiver during normal network conditions. Integrated security functions can detect and contain unauthorized message transmission, message tampering, bus flooding, and invalid identifier usage. The TJA1152 helps enhance network protection while maintaining compatibility with existing CAN and CAN FD architectures.
The TJA1152, part of the EdgeLock Assurance program, is designed to meet industry standards and follows NXP's security-by-design approach.
