X-in-1 System Integration for Electric Vehicle (EV)
In the electric vehicle market, X-in-1 system is an integration concept aiming to combine multiple powertrain functions, such as traction inverter, onboard charger (OBC), power conversion (DC/DC), high-voltage power distribution unit (HV PDU), vehicle control unit (VCU), battery monitoring system (BMS) and thermal management system.
Such an approach rationalizes space, weight and cost of the system as well as the efficiency. This high level of integration not only reduces system complexity and cost but it also enhances performance, reliability and space efficiency.
