High Performance 77GHz RFCMOS Automotive Radar One-Chip SoC
The SAF85xx is an RFCMOS automotive radar System-on-Chip (SoC) designed for 76 GHz to 81 GHz FMCW radar applications.
The SAF85xx integrates a radar transceiver, Arm® Cortex®-A53 and Cortex®-M7 processing cores, radar acceleration, DSP processing, and SRAM on a single chip to support short-range, medium-range, and long-range radar systems.
With four transmitters, four receivers, ADC conversion, phase rotator, low-phase-noise VCO, and radar processing accelerators, the SAF85xx supports object data, point cloud, and FFT data outputs.
The SAF85xx is developed in compliance with ISO 26262 and targets ASIL B functional safety while supporting SHE+ and EVITA Full security requirements through an integrated Hardware Security Engine (HSE).
