eXtreme switch devices are NXP smart high side switches for automotive (12 V), bus/truck (24 V) and industrial applications. They belong to an expanding family designed to control, protect and diagnose various types of loads with enhanced precision in BCM, ECU or junction boxes. Typical loads are incandescent bulbs, light emitting diodes modules (LEDs) and DC motors. With on-resistance ranging from 2 mOhm to 50 mOhm in 1 to 5 channel configurations, these products combine flexibility, advanced protection and diagnostics through daisy chainable SPI for safe and robust designs.
