The S32R29 EVB is an evaluation board for the development of automotive radar applications. The evaluation board gives access to communications interfaces such Ethernet and CAN, MIPI-CSI2 for connectivity with radar transceivers and GPIO headers to access other MCU functionality. The S32R29 EVB can also be helpful for software development and the evaluation of the signal processing toolkit for radar math acceleration, the functional safety features or the security features of the S32R29 MCU.

- Power supply input with one NXP FS8510 PMIC providing all of the necessary EVB and MCU voltages
- Boot mode selection via switches on board

- Gb Ethernet Physical interface IC, with RJ45 connector
- Two MIPI-CSI2 connectors intended for use with NXP's RFCMOS front end board
(*via adaptor, available separately) - FlexRAY interface
- 3 CAN FD interfaces
- UART to Micro USB interface
- 10-pin Serial Interprocessor Interface (SIPI) connector
- Standard 14-pin JTAG debug connector and 34-pin Nexus Aurora connector
- All MCU signals readily accessible at a port-ordered group of 0.1” pitch headers
Memory
- 256 Mb (64 MB) serial NOR flash memory
- 64 Kb EEPROM connected to MCU via I2C
Display
- 4*10-character LCD with DSPI interface (DSPI4)
