The TJA1021 is a LIN transceiver that provides the interface between a LIN protocol controller and the physical bus in automotive LIN networks.
The TJA1021 supports LIN 2.0, LIN 2.1, LIN 2.2, LIN 2.2A, SAE J2602, and ISO 17987-4:2016 communication at baud rates from 1 kBd to 20 kBd and is pin-compatible with the TJA1020 and MC33662(B).
The device converts controller transmit data into a LIN bus signal with optimized slew-rate control to help reduce electromagnetic emissions. The TJA1021 also provides low-power Sleep mode operation, wake-up capability, and integrated receiver functionality for reliable LIN communication in automotive applications.
Participating products are available for a minimum of 10 years. Designated participating products developed for the automotive, telecom and medical segments are available for a minimum of 15 years.
