Philips Semiconductors was established in Budapest in 2003 with just five team members. In 2006 it became NXP Semiconductors Hungary. Since then we have grown to over 90 team members in the Budapest office.
Team members in the NXP Hungary office are responsible for several different functions making us one of the most diverse locations within the company.
Local teams within our corporate supply chain organization are responsible for system and process improvements, product planning and fulfillment for a large number of NXP products used by the automotive industry, primarily within our advanced analog and radio frequency processing businesses.
Teams within our quality organization are also represented here with responsibilities for change management, audit and information systems as well as field quality engineering. Sustainability teams in Hungary are advancing our corporate sustainability initiatives, primarily through environmental product compliance.
NXP Hungary supports the local community in many ways, including regularly donating school supplies for children, clothing and other essentials for families in temporary homes and food donations for animal shelters.
