FRDM‑MCXA346 is a compact and scalable development board for rapid prototyping with MCX A345 and A346 MCUs, ideal for advanced motor control and high-performance real-time designs. It provides industry-standard headers for easy access to the MCU’s I/Os, integrated open-standard serial interfaces, and an on-board MCU-Link debugger.
Designed to accelerate development of advanced motor control, motor drives, and real-time industrial control applications, it includes CAN-FD connectivity, a Mathematical Acceleration Unit (MAU) to improve performance in real-time motor control computations, SmartDMA support, a SmartDMA/camera header, and flexible GPIO expansion headers to simplify evaluation, expansion, and application development.
Additional tools such as the expansion board hub (EBH) for add-on boards and the application code hub (ACH) for software examples are available through the MCUXpresso Developer Experience.
