FRDM-MCXA174 is a compact and scalable development board for rapid prototyping for the A173 and A174 MCUs, ideal for balanced real-time control and connected sensing applications. It provides industry-standard headers for easy access to the MCU’s I/Os, integrated open-standard serial interfaces, and an on-board MCU-Link debugger.

Designed to accelerate development of smart sensing, motor control, and distributed control nodes, it includes 2x 16-bit ADC, CAN-FD connectivity, SmartDMA support, a SmartDMA/LCD expansion header to simplify evaluation, expansion, and application development.

Additional tools such as the Expansion Board Hub (EBH) for add-on boards and the Application Code Hub (ACH) for software examples are available through the MCUXpresso Developer Experience.
