S32 Safety Software provides software components for establishing the safety foundation of customers’ safety applications and help enable ISO 26262 system compliance up to ASIL D. It is composed of three pillars: S32 Safety Software Framework (SAF), Safety Peripheral Drivers (SPD) and Structural Core Self-Test (SCST).
S32 Safety Software is developed according to an ISO 26262 compliant development process. The software components focused on supporting all automotive safety integrity levels (up to ASIL D) and accelerate time-to-market of customers’ functional safety applications.
Provides detection and reaction mechanisms for latent faults and single-point faults enabling the safety concept flow of S32 devices.
The SCST library is the software product used for the runtime detection of permanent hardware faults in the processor core.
