Agile I/O GPIO Brochure
Agile I/O versions reduce system cost and ease software development.
Our industry-leading General Purpose I/O (GPIO) expanders provide 4, 8, 16, 24 or 40 general-purpose I/O pins for the CPU via the I2C-bus to help designers reduce board space and complexity while simplifying software development and lowering overall system cost.
Our agile I2C GPIO includes features to eliminate external components as pull-up resistors, open-drain outputs, output drive control and input latches to permit faster software development and more robust firmware performance. These GPIOs work with I2C and SPI interfaces and with applications such as: keyboards, IO expansion, driving LED and signal monitoring.
