PEmicro's Cyclone LC programmers are in-circuit standalone programmers that support many NXP® processor families. They are versatile tools that offer onboard storage of programming images and jobs, power provisioning of the target, manual or automated programming, and have an easy-to-use touchscreen interface.
Programming may be launched by a single button press without a PC or automatically from a PC via the automated control SDK. Features:
- Automated Control SDK and Console:
A PC-based SDK, Console, and GUI Control allow great flexibility for automated control of as many Cyclones as needed in a single or gang programming configuration.
- Target-Specific Dynamic Data:
Target-specific dynamic data can be added for each target via the SDK and Console from a local PC. Dynamic data is overlaid on top of the programming image data. Dynamic data also comes from internal serial numbers.
- A Focus on Security:
The Cyclone supports features like Secure Boot, Secure JTAG, and Secure Authentication for NXP devices such as i.MX, LPC, and S32K.
The Cyclone supports two types of programming objects:
- Stand-Alone Programming Images: Programming Images contain all data, scripts, and algorithms necessary to program a specific hardware configuration with a specific set of data. There are no external dependencies outside of the image.
- Cloud-Connected Programming Jobs: Programming Jobs are similar to Programming Images except they use the Cyclone’s network connection to request programming permission from and report results to a user’s Virtual Factory in the PEcloud. This gives the user the ability to start, stop, update, create, and monitor their programming jobs in use on their Cyclones anywhere in the world on the cloud.pemicro.com website.
The Cyclone FX programmer is also available which has the following additional features : Highest Speed Programming, Massive Storage, Programming Image Encryption, Count and Date Limitations, ability to run test applications during programming, pulling dynamic data from external servers.
